Today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport discusses the fallout after the Guarin-Vucinic swap was halted in its tracks by Inter president Erick Thohir. “Some have accused Thohir of being too worried about the financial aspects and little of those on the sporting side, but it is unthinkable that an entrepreneur who moves hundreds of millions of dollars does not know that the business only works if the team gets results.” The Milan based daily newspaper then speculates that with many expiring contracts in the playing staff, coupled with a more settled environment it is in June that Thohir will spend to improve the team. The paper also mentions that over the weekend Thohir will meet with the board, Moratti and the banks to get clear ideas ahead of the summer.

guys for starter why not bring back davide santon from newcastle ,, he is actually a right footed who knows how to play left back, plus fernando the defensive midfielder can shine with inter simply because inter does not have someone with better qualities in that particular place, some people will say kuzmanuvic yet he’s some how slow but i want kuzmanuvic to be as a sub anywaiz lavezzi now is worth 18milion euros compare when he was at napoli he way cheaper and more desperate to play well because there is the fact also that worldcup is this year and every player want to reach their best to be at the worldcup squad .. plz mr.THOIR do your best @ least 3rd place this year
For a defensive midfield, we have Patrick Olsen actually, having the same tittle with Kovacic as one of european jewels, he had great potential to replace Cambiasso, too bad he’s promoted at the wrong time, if only Stramala still there, he’ll be damn great I’m telling you.
Thohir, just appoint right coach, right sporting director and right transfer manager and spend 30-40 million this winter and you will see the result.
Sell Handanovic, Guarin, Belfodil, Mudingayi, Mariga, Kuzmanovic at any price to make some cash and save wage budget. Sign D’Ambrosio, Fernando, Candreva. Bring Longo and Bardi back.
