Despite the reassuring words from Erick Thohir yesterday, it would be naive to think that if results don’t improve Walter Mazzarri’s position would remain secure. With this in mind Tuttosport looks at the alternatives for the Inter bench. The Turin newspaper speculates that had the negotiations not been dragged out with Massimo Moratti it’s possible that Frank de Boer would already be installed on the Nerazzurri bench. After signing a renewal until 2017 things would appear complicated in order to facilitate the current Ajax boss’ arrival to Milan. With regards to Sinisa Mihajlovic (who already has experience on the bench as assistant coach to Roberto Mancini) the Serbian has made no secret of his desire to one day manage Inter.
Finally the wildcard must be previous Inter & Milan coach Leonardo. He still maintains a very good relationship with Massimo Moratti and has recently become open to a return to the bench following the ending of his management role at French club PSG.

Get leonardo as branca’s replacement,for mihajlovic,he need time to prove his capabilities to coach inter,for de boer,i doubt him regards to his ambition to coach barca and his knowledge about italian football,but his capabilities has proved with ajax now,we can hope an attacking inter with him,just a share,how with strama/klopp? Both of them likes young player,align with thohir’s dream,but still inexperienced,for simeone,we must wait till the end of this season due to atletico madrid position on the final table,furthermore,simeone wants a good people in management level

Do this: Get Leonardo in for Branca. Keep Mazzarri as coach. Buy the players he wants. We already have a good base with Hernanes, Guarin staying, Taider, Etc. Leo is the only best choice from the mentioned above, for his long experience in Italy. But he’s best suited for Director position, not a head coach.
Mihajlovic, I appreciate him for being an interista. But I won’t wonder if Inter goes to serie B if he is in charge.
F. De Boer, knock it off. As good as he may be now, but the Dutchman doesn’t have inside out knowledge of Italian football leaving aside his coaching style is suited or not. Having him Inter’s bench is just another big gamble with the risk of total oblivion.
