As the negotiations with Nemanja Vidic are very close to being finalised, Erick Thohir is looking to rejuvenate the squad with some young, high-quality players. According to the English news site Express, Tottenhams Erik Lamela and Real Madrids Alvaro Morata top the Indonesian tycoon’s hit-list. These two players, together with Mauro Icardi, would form an attacking lineup with a very low average age.
Morata has been wanted by both Arsenal and Liverpool lately, but the player chose to stay in Madrid with Carlo Ancelotti. A future move should however not be excluded, especially if the ex-Milan manager continues to give Morata moderate amounts of playing time.

I know hes not focused but the longer it goes the worse it will get. he still might be able to right the ship with some minutes and a couple goals. we have nothing to lose at this point.
I agree with Bullet…We dropped so many points this year because we cant finish around the goal and Icardi doesnt even get a nod when hes been healthy. mazzarri has a dog house and it seems that icardi guarin and rannochia are the tennants.

Ok so first off, our stupid manager needs to start playing Icardi. It’s obvious that Mazz has no faith in our young players. He needs to be sacked ASAP.

Bullshit, we haven’t seen him play more than 12 minutes since he started banging Wanda. He should get more chances. Did anyone see Guarin last game? Or Kuzmanovic? Mazzari is too thickheaded when it comes to the first 11. I wan’t to see more of Icardi, Kovacic and Taider. Hernanes + Kovacic + Taider is waaaay better then Hernanes + Guarin + Kuzmanovic. Also, Icardi with Palacio upfront is better then Palacio and Milito.
Say what you want about Icardi and his Wanda, but everytime he stept on the pitch, we played better then we were before!!
I agree. Lets play him from the 1st minute on Saturday. Milito is leaving so don’t waste valuable game minutes during our “transition year”.
