As Corriere dello Sport point out this morning, Intentional breaks provide the perfect opportunity for players to speak with their native press away from Italy and the club. Both Saphir Taider and Mateo Kovacic have already talked of their difficult situations at Inter but it is not only these two players who are growing frustrated at Appiano Gentile. Andreolli and Ranocchia barely feature in games anymore, with the latter now at serious risk of losing a spot in the Azzurri World Cup squad. Andreolli has been almost invisible from the pitch under Mazzarri outside of a couple of Coppa Italia outings. After seven games on the bench Javier Zanetti finally saw some action in Rome but the soon to be 41 year old would like to keep playing next season, the current situation isn’t helping that ambition.
