Meanwhile, Dortmund are considering replacements and are turning their head towards the city of Milan and Inter. First up on the list would be Inter’s supertalent Mateo Kovacic or even possibly Ricardo Alvarez.

no no, not kova
he’s inter future, and still 19
Does ANYBODY in here know what transition means in football?
Sell alvarez and sack mazzarri out except he change all that damn tactics for inter
For those saying Kovacic didnt prove himself enough, I know that somewhat he need to take care of himself and use every opportunities he had been given, yet I still think that its not only his fault, Mazzarri had his part too for this situation, everyone has their portion, nobody can be blamed totally, now if we send him to Wenger or Klopp and he became one of the best player in history, is it his fault that he is playing bad with Mazzarri, or is it Mazzarri’s fault? Its both of them, what i mean is he is guilty, yes, but dont just blame it totally on him.
I would exactly choose kova than alvarez. Kovacic is inter’s future. Just remember how he played at the first season with inter. Sell alvarez, especially if he ask for pay rise
Kovacic had 8(14) apps with no goal and 1 assist
is not how many minutes the club can give you but what can you give in that minutes!
i prefer mazzari out rather than kova
same
I love Kovacic, he’s talented & losing him would be a major blow. but Interisti should stop overrating him, at least not yet. I don’t think he short on chances, he got many chances already, especially for an 19 years old boy. Look at his statistics, considering he got injured at the start of the season, he still managed to play in 22 matches (8 as a starting) this season. probably averaging more than 30 minutes playing time. That’s a lot of playing time right ?
I feel there’s some unhealthy obsession towards him. When he’s playing well you guys praised him like he’s a saviour but When he didnt do well you guys close your eyes and blame everyone (Mazzari, Kuz, Guarin, etc) but himself.
I totally agree with you. Finally someone that has sense
im trully agree with u
🙂 be patient guys. finally someone with smart comment
I think you are completely wrong. If you are going to invest in players as young as Kovacic you need to almost guarantee them a starting place. They are still developing, have confidence and decision making issues and if you use them as a bench warmer or offer only thirty minutes here and there confidence can be affected and they struggle to achieve their potential. If you back them to make mistakes but trust in their potential to be the very best then you have to play them. Otherwise buy players over 24/25 who are developed and confident at the level. Why do you think teams like Ajax etc get the best out of youngsters? Because they back them and back them and trust the potential they believe they have. If Inter are not going to play him as a regular first teamer they may as well sell him now while he is worth something and we can watch him develop elsewhere like Coutinho, Santon, Destro, Bonucci and all the others who we didnt back.
No i dont think 19 years old should be a starting. Unless they delivered something special. Some player that already established as a first team in a big club at such a young age even failed in the future (ex: Saviola & Pato)
Ajax has time to play 19 year olds, their league isn’t even top 5. Inter isn’t Ajax. At 19 u don’t gotta start every game. U just need to get playing time which Kovacic is getting. Maybe not in the last 3 games but overall he has played a lot. There’s no need to rush things. Kovacic is 19 obviously in 1-2 years he will start every game. But let’s be honest he hasn’t been playing that good in 2014. Which is norm. And all the transfer speculation is only rumors. Don’t panic
If this is the case then dont buy players that young. If your ‘theory’ is correct then tell me one player Inter has taken through from being a talented under 20 to being a regular first teamer? I can tell you plenty who left, were given regular first team football and thrived but you, being a fan, already know of these players. If we are not going to put faith in a player who we signed for as much as we sold Coutinho for and who has looked the part rather often, then we shouldnt sign him at all. He will not develop on the bench at Inter. His confidence will deteriorate, his form will drop and his performance level will decrease. Which has happened. If you are going to sign players this young for that amount you either have to send them out on long term loans to clubs that will play them or you have to play them yourself or there is no point in buying them.
Stop repeating about chances.Guarin fail many times, but continue to play as starter. What about Jonathan? Play terrible but still have chance to be a starter.I don’t wanna mention Kuzmanovic,i don’t think he’s better than Kovacic.Players like Kovacic is future of Inter, they need to play and to feel faith.Nobody say that Kovacic have to be starter every game, but he needs minutes every game to grow up.If you don’t give him playing time in transition year, when?
Stop these kind of nonsense here please, arghhh everyone is claiming that Kova had too many chances! just take a smart look at Koscielny at Arsenal what he looked like in his first games huh? and just consider him right now, he is one of the best defs in EPL without a doubt, want more instances? so what about Januzaj in Manu? he was terrible at first but now, PSG, Real and even Barca are after him, so stop writing nonsense please you dear guys here!
Januzaj & Pogba, Shows their coach why they deserved a chance in the first team with series of good form. Same at Inter, Juan Jesus is still young & produced a good peformance and thats why he’s in our starting eleven, same case with Mauro Icardi he’s young too, but he continue to impressed Mazzari when he got the chance and at the last match against Roma he’s a starter & i think he’ll be our regular starting as long as he fit.
So i think its all down to Kovacic, he must impressed Mazzari by showing a peformance like he does in the National Team.
defensive syle of playing from mazzari has no/less room for kova.
while he still keep jono or alvarez on the field
Alvarez Averaging 2.8 tackles per game while Kovacic 1.5. Kovacic 0.4 Intercept while Alvarez 0.7.
even without lookin at the statistics i already know that Alvarez defends far better than Kovacic….
Stop crying “Mazzrri must go” kovacic hasn’t proven himself this season. Besides he will get his chances. Don’t worry. It’s really annoying that all you guys do his say Mazzarri must go. If it wasn’t for Mazzarri we would be lower in the table with lots of injuries. He only been at inter for 7 months
Finally someone else with some sense Mazzarri is doing a good job and kova has had a lot of chances
7 months? I are you kidding? I think you are ready to wait your beloved Mazzarri to destroy Inter for 7 years!
Are you out of your mind or you really think Kova is not a good guy? first of all I’m not of those who shout Mazzari must go every fucking day, but so what? of course he is not as good as you feel plus the current situation of the team if you call it good! is not all depended on his works. finally i have a quiz: if you gonna make a selection between Mazzarri on one side and TRUE talents such Mbaye, Duncan, Taider, Bardi and Kova on the other side, what you really going to choose??? just think a little about it!
I never said Kovacic isn’t a good guy. I love him but it’s the truth what I said. And he plays the younger players. Have you’re whole team u21 isn’t gonna make u win games.
Here we fucking go…
…Mazz is gonna be the end of Kova.
Mazzarri must go. This cannot be said enough.
