Corriere dello Sport writes today that the coming week will probably be a crucial week, regarding contract renewals with Fredy Guarin and Rodrigo Palacio.
“The Colombian’s agent will submit their proposals for Inter, which will surely become the same amount that Juventus were willing to give in January, (3.3 million euros), Fredy current salary is 2.2 million. Palacio who earns 2.7 million in salary want more than 3 million euors that Inter are offering, but not as salary but in bonuses. ”
We are not at the final stage yet, but an agreement could be finalized in a near future. According Tutttsport will Fredy probably sign to the end of 2017 and Palacio the end of 2016. Now they only have to try to reach a new contract with Ricky Alvarez.

I think Palacio deserves contract extension because he had a lot of burden on him as playing in central (lone) striker position as forced by mazzzarri. He scored the most goals and tried his best, so the club should respect his efforts for sure. It’s so difficult to play 175 cm second striker to play constantly as a central striker. If Guarin’s heart is in Inter, extent his contract. During Guaro-Vucinic speculation, I had a doubt on his intention. But that bullshit swap never happened and Guaro stayed with Inter, his contract should be extended and improved for sure. Alvarez? I don’t really think that he is an essential part of Inter squad, so he should be sold.
Don’t force Palacio to renew his contract,because he’s already more than 30years.
I will advice this my favourite club from my childhood to go for young attackers eg Jovetic,Alexis,Victor Moses,Morata,Muriel,Costa,Chicharito etc.
Rather than renewing the old one’s,people like Diego Milito, we appreciate what he has done so far, but we need to be competitive again,team like us should be aiming high.
As for Guarin, we must keep him in our team for more five seasons,but Alvarez let him go if he insist and buy replacement for him people like Ben Arfa, Iturbe, Draxler and even Kovacic can play perfectly in his role. FORZA INTER
Don’t go to far for players above 30 years old. Palacio is good but no Milito in his best days. Learn about the past. Guaran fits in our project so renew is contract is a must.
