Inter president Erick Thohir landed a short time ago at Malpensa Airport, Milano. He spoke to waiting journalists including FcInterNews.it

President Thohir, can we say Milano is now your second home?

“No, it isn’t my second home, but I definitely have many things to do here”

Are you still angry after the defeat against Atalanta?

“No, I was never angry. it is normal to be sad, it’s not fun when you lose games of this type. It would be strange if you were laughing after losing a match.”

Inter prefers an experienced attacker or a younger player?

“It depends on the discussions we have with the coach and the management about how we can be more consistent at the top leve. In the end it depends on the players, the formation and the strategy that we want to use”

Are you satisfied with the work of the coach?

“Certainly, there isn’t any problems with Mazzarri and with all the technical staff. When it comes to the end of the season we review everything,”

We read that you would like to have one of Dzeko, Morata and Torres. Is there a preference?

“The media reported the names of these players and I’ve read about this. Surely the club need a player of this level.”

What is the situation of Sagna and Evra?

“As far as Evra goes we did not have any contact. Sagna, if he decided to stay in the Premier League we’d have to understand that. It will be necessary to reinforce the wide areas where right now we only have Jonathan and Nagatomo. If one of them gets injured you need somebody to come in. But if Sagna decides to stay in England, we might bring in a young player from our academy.”

There is a plan to sell Handanovic and bring in Bardi?

“There is no such plan but it is good to have two good goalkeepers at this level.”
