Daily Mail reports that Chelsea is prepared to table £ 40 million in order to sign Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa this summer.
During the past few weeks rumors have ben circulating which state that Fernando Torres could be included into the deal, the former Liverpool man has publicly been declared to be a target in the summer by Inter President Erick Thohir. The Daily Mail reports however that Diego Simeone’s club has declared not to be interested in bringing their former striker back and have decided to pursue younger options. This could open the path for Inter to sign the former Liverpool and Ateltico Madrid striker who has seen the majority of his time with Chelsea from the stands due to injury and poor form.
