Another game ending with a bitter taste for Inter where miraculous saves were mixed with imprecision in front of goal and, penalty for Inter not given. This is what Walter Mazzarri had to say to Sky: “Are you talking about unfair episodes? For us, they occur throughout the entire season. We hope to be able to shoot once and score. Six goals in the last eight home games? But have you seen how manu chances we have created during those games? It is a strange season. If our luck doesn’t change during the last games, this season is like that. I didn’t like the first half, let’s be clear: they pressured us and did it well, I know Guidolin. Then we deserved more in the second half: from the 60th minute and onwards we should have scored two or three goals. It is a normal match scenario, first you struggle, you exhaust your opponents and then you win. But for us, the ball never finds the net. At some times we were clumsy, but there seems to be something here that we cannot control. Missed chances in front of an empty net.. There is nothing wrong with the team, we are organised, concede very little and create a l0t. That is how we will have to think this season while we try to take as many points as possible until the end”.
How can the improvement after half time be explained? “They man-marked every player over the whole pitch, if then no one manages to get past their player it will be difficult. We needed to score from one of the many crosses from the wings”.
Was Guarin bad today? “I wanted to create a two-on-one situation with Jonathan and Alvarez. It took a while for Udinese to figure that out and we did well. In the first half, they were well prepared for what we wanted to do. This is normal. Hernanes played further back and this gave us an advantage. Our play was good, we just lacked a goal. You can’t expect to win 4-0 against Udinese: the important thing for me is to win and I believe we deserved to, just like we did against Atalanta”.
Is there a need for a striker with more experience than Icardi? ” This season I must make players grow and make sure they play well. I must make sure that the players who are still not used to playing here understand what it means to play for Inter. In June the decisions will be made, right now everyone is still being evaluated. I have said what I think and I will say it again. Everything to make sure my second season gets of to the best possible start”.

The way inter played? I only see 2 strikers 1 or 2 Central midfielder and too late flank or it could be called no creavity flank try desperately to attack with the same way in 90 minutes. Even serie C clubs know to handle this WM way of play.
too late to change useless player on pitch, always happened everytime. but his fatal fault was change the useless players with more useless players (Guarin > Ricky). LOL. Noob
A few points why i think Mazzarri helped us become a team deserving of champions League for next year.
Point 1: The team has way less quality then last year.
Ex: Cassano, Sneijder, Couthinho
Point 2 : Improvement of players on the team.
Ex: Cambiasso,Juan jesus, Jonathan, Ricky alvarez, Walter samuel
Point 3 : Next year a team will gel.
Ex 1: Kovacic DM
Ex 2: New ST
EX 3: Vidic!!!
Point 4 : We should only be 3 points behind napoli if it wasnt the ref fault.
Ex: Udinesse game
EX: Roma
Ex: Genoa
Ex: Chievo
Ex: Atlanta
All these games we were denied a penalty and because of that we drop points. If the ref was not a juventus fan we could have another 11points.
Inter – Catania 0-0
Inter – Gagliari 1-1
Inter – Atalanta 1-2
Inter – Udinese 0-0
If we had won these games we would be 4 points behind Napoli and we would have a game between us. We should win them and without penalty.
WM is a biggest problem for Inter now.
WM made worst subs ever….
Sure Guarin was underperforming but Alvarez!?
he sould go Kovacic in and Guarin out start of 2nd half…and not to sub Jonathan.
Alvarez is shit…player for Parma, Udinese not Inter…
Our best player was JUAN and is whole season…
Sack WM…
Why he dont use Kovacic, Taider, Bota!?
also what have kovacic done to deserve threatment like this from mazzarri? you can see how guarin lacks of respect to coach when he decides to replace him after showing poor display. despite age difference, kovacic always acts more mature than this guy. guarin would completely piss off if he is on kovacic’s place now, however mazzarri would act different if that’s the case. he doesn’t show the same “toughness” to all of our player. hammer to kovacic, mother to guarin..
Koavcic is always useful, even with poor shooting, he is great addition to almost any team including ours. why? simply because he is guy who makes opponents uncertain whether he will make pass or dribble. when he decides to dribble he is just f… fast, he doesn’t have to anything special, he just runs through opposition and makes difference on a pitch. guarin and hernanes, you know they’ll f… shoot, they don’t have versatilty kovacic has, rare players actually do, but we just don’t use that.
If WM stay, Inter need trequartista, like Hamsik in Napoli.Cause when flank-attack was stuck, only the man who really have creativity can help us to get the score. Actually, Kovacic and Alvarez can do that. Hernanes and Guarin is more centre-midfielder.
hamsik is guy for counter attacks, he runs different than any of our players. his close control was never his advatage, he is fast without ball and is very dangerous against opposition. that’s why he is so successull in napoli, or was mazzarri’s favorite.
I want to say and to ask to WM supporters:
He needed time…. he had it, 30 games + cup matches. From i can see we will earn 5-10 points more than last year with Strama ( and Strama was playing on Thursdays Europa league and had a lot of injuries ).WM have better roster this year. So what WM did better than Strama?
Did you really expect that if we will buy Dzeko something will change? We have not creativity in our game. Next year we will play with almost the same players in offensive, Hernanes, Guarin, Palacio + new striker. So what do you expect so much better?
It is Rudys Garcia first season too, Roma is 19 points ahead of us with 1 game less.
It is Benitez first season too, Napoli is 13 points ahead of us and in Ch.L places.
How much time he need?
He said in interview “Our play was good”
Where he saw good football. OK, i agree that we played good from 70 min and after, but we played with Udinese in Meazza, we should play from 1st min good. And in game with Atalanta, i don’t know where was WM, but in the first half Atalanta was better than Inter.
And i don’t know if you see it, after he replaced Nagatomo with Milito we were playing 4-3-3 and create more chances in last 10 min than in all game.
I will not talk about his love with Riki, and keeping Kova on the bench. Only i will say that i was sure from first half that his 1st sub would be Riki ( very bad in last game with Atalanta and in this too ).
So first transfer must be coach on summer.
You nail on the head, mate! The first transfer should be the sack of Mazzarri. Totally agreed!
Yes it’s right, 4-3-3 in the end. Mazzarri really knows how to play with many formation, 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, and else but he is TOO PROUD and TOO STUBBORN to stick with his original. Yes the formation did change for goodness, but so what? They’re already playing comfortably and going with the flow, it’s USELESS.
what’s more pathetic is, the opponent are half weakened without Di Natale! He’s half the power of huu team and we can’t even beat half udinese? LOLLLL I really hope Thohir evaluate him more thoroughly, he is smiling at the end of the game but it’s a bitter smile im sure. No Mazzarri fans will reply you, they can’t even think.
Totally agree. Guarin was underpreforming. 1st sub shuld be Kovacic in guarin out. And 2nd sub!? wtf…he take out Johnathan who was really good…mistake….
BEST player was Juan. maybe our best player at all.
Thohir pls…
Sack WM
SOLD Alvarez
USE Kovacic
I read some interesting statistics that said no Inter player had ever lost the ball as many times as Guarin in the first half: 19 times. DANG!
SO just because Mazzarri’s team this year is doing better than Strama last year up to this point of the season does that really make Strama a bad coach ? Inter team last year could not take the fitness of playing in 3 tournaments…this inter has only 1 to worry about…….strama had Zanetti, Milito, Samuel, and 9 other players injured and they still managed to score goals……Mazzarri’s Inter can’t score with a full roster……imagine if Mazza had 12 players injured? then remember that Milito was replaced with Rocchi which is like replacing a Ferrari with a 1982 Peugeot……..Give strama Icardi, Hernanes, Botta etc…..and watch this team score goals
first of all i’m not wm supporter. the only thing i support is the club itself. but i know some of you are pointing at me to answer this so this is it. we have better roster? and do you think other teams don’t have better roster? rube? roma? napoli? fio? did they had pretty much the same team as last year and got their hands on just some so so players? almost the same players which had better understanding both tactical and each other. any sane mind would say yes we’ll be better. especially if we had better winger and a finisher as dzeko. does rudi garcia was given a certain wallace? an old campagnaro? the talented yet far from blossom icardi? do we even have to compare maicon to jonathan? or does mazzarri have the likes of strootman, de rossi, llajic, nainggolan, pjanic, benatia kind of quality? or does mazzarri have higuain, zuniga, hamsik, inler in his disposal? or do we have a prolific strikers such as gomez and rossi? i’ve seen we played a lot worst than the last two games but still win it, did anyone ever complain? nope. everyone complained because we didn’t won, it was mazzarri, and he doesn’t give kovacic as much minuts as last year. the last 10 minutes? we already had chances after chances even before milito entered the pitch. don’t worry i wouldn’t mention about your obsessive towards kovacic either. and you think kovacic played better than riki in the previous game heh?
i was not pointing at you man…i was talking to all who don’t want WM to leave on summer…and here is not only you.
I will point on one thing because i don’t want to make big reply again.
Mazzarri didn’t make something better than Strama last year.He has better roster than Strama and don’t have Thursdays games in Azerbaijan and in Russia etc. And Strama had a lot of injuries.
does mazzarri have the type of cassano in his squad? does mazzarri had a better finisher in the name of milito? and everyone can see how handanovic saves this team’s ass for pretty much every single game. then we also had better team work, better organized team, more compact play. it’s right there for everyone to see. there is more improvement in this team for +/- 30 weeks compared to whole season last year. and not to mention strama had much longer time with the team
you got what you want, winger, a playmaker, etc.
Now show us your capability in this minor time. Everyone knows many of of Interisti, have no patience on this kind of circumstances.
No no no mazzari in our bench next season, i prefer frank de boer to replace him
Well mr Mazzarri, you have 8 games left, you’ve played your preferred “experienced” team, yet you haven’t gonna past the 50 point mark that you assumed Inter would have at the end of the season if you fielded younger players. How do you see it going?..
Well.. Everyone seems against mazzari because of not playing kovacic.. Can kovacic carry the preassure when inter must win at home when it is 10 minutes left ?
I’m not mazzari bitch or whatever you will say later , but i must say this, first, inter should have 2 penalty , there was 2 clear handball in the box, second, scuffet is on fire, third, inter control the game almost the whole second half.
Its not mazzari’s fault. Its called bad luck . IMO , in this season, inter is re-building a solid team and zero of luck. Very very unlucky.
Sorry for my bad english. Sorry for my comment. It is just my opinion guys 🙂
Forza Inter !
well said mate. we root for inter not for kovacic neither mazzarri. and it had to be said that it was the players who didn’t put their job done. if not for mazzarri’s tactical change we wouldn’t had those fucking chances. but almost no one see that just because mazzarri didn’t play kovacic and he had his 3-5-2 as his basic formation. for kovacic, i don’t want him to go. he can be better players under experience coach like mazzarri. but before he can get that first xi under his belt he had to improve much of his game. and just face it, he didn’t had that much of competition last year like he had this year so he had to do even more harder work to play this season
The question is, if you have to choose, Mazzarri or Kovacic need to go, which one?
neither of both. though i hate seeing kovacic’s ineffective at times and his terrible defence, but i would love to see him develop here to become a great player. he has the talent no doubt about that, but he had to face real world where there are people who is better than him in many aspects. this is not a little league such as croatian where he can stand out above other anymore. if he can’t push himself to show what he was actually capable of and improving his weakness then he won’t be anyone. about mazzarri, i’ve said this last year about strama and i’ll said it again. we need continuity, we need stability. keep the coach and let him build the team and improve it even if it was little by little instead of changing the coach every fuckin year which will changing the system and changing the players. this is a rebuilding phase. good or bad, face it, get through it. instead of starting everything from scratch all over again every start of the season
It’s alright mate, there is always a pro and cons.
Now, if Kovacic plays only for the last ten mins of course it’s useless, so why not use him as a starter rather than Guarin, or bring him in at the start of second half? why Alvarez? He’s still not in-form yet after the injury.
About luck, yes it does matter, but we can talk about that when we play well, when we plays bad, dont talk about luck, refs and others. You think Inter are doing good last night? No, without Di Natale they’re lost half of their power. Talking about luck they’re having some bad luck too preventing them to score. So let’s assume both clubs are lucky, it’s a 1-1 tie, now if Di Natale are playing, add that as another points for them, 2-1 we lost. With our condition today we are the lucky one he didn’t play. Thats only some assumptions, but it’s easy logic.
I tottaly agree with you !!!
Are you all that stupid guys? Mazzarri took a medium roster in relate with the other rosters and gave the team something that didn’t had last year and every year after Mourinho’s era. IDENTITY. The team now has a certain character, which is vital for the re-build we talked about in the summer. Have some fucking patience guys, you can’t have results in 9 months. Otherwise, it would be a flamework!
yes that’s also what i’m talking about. people said this team had no identity, no pattern, no formation, no organization, literally nothing last year. but mazzarri takes this team which consist of 80% of the same players last year and improved them much. he had to be credited for that. this is a rebuilding phase. this is the same phase we had several years before the treble. instead of restart everything every single fuckin year and being fucked up by some people in management, we should start something, keep it up, shape it up, and improve the whole quality of the team bit by bit. stabilize the team and giving it some backbone is the first thing we had to do. but no, the other just wanted to some instant way to win again. and thinking changing the coach all over again will help this team to improve? hah that was a joke
Identity? IDENTITY YOUR ASS!!! Identity is indeed important but sometimes, many times even, coach needed to be fluid and adapted with situation his team is facing with. But what is he doing? No he is too proud with his system. It’s not wrong, but being stubborn definitely kills you slowly. But his not the only one guilty though, the whole team mentality are so cracked.
And the conments below you saying that Mazzarri is improving Stramas team? LOLLLL thats even brainless, Strama are doing very great before the second half. All the injuries and bad transfers by Branca are killing him. So, assumed that no injury happens he will success, who need Mazzarri then? Mazzarri are just resuming Stramas work, with like he said 80% of the players are the same plus NO injury problem, so what makes it so hard? It is his stubborn head !! Ps: I never said any single bad words about Strama last year even though Inter is destroyed last season because his condition are very hard. But Mazzarri? LOL im done, really really sick with his way. Goodluck anyway to him.
agree
even Mou change his usual plan 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 and win everything.
Mazzari got what he want, the transfer, the staff, almost everything. Now blaming no penalty, and other unnecessary things?
Now I understand why everyone comparing Strama’s is better with regarding injury woes.
@fa
Yeah right point, even mou has used 3-5-2 when he was in need of that formation on the pitch and he succeed indeed, the point is the right time to change your current formation to the right one
do you even watch the game? can’t you even see the change he made in every game based on the condition on field? or do you really think the starting formation are the same for whole 90 minutes? hahahaha thats ridiculous. the last 2 games proved it. improvement? everything is there to be seen with your own eyes. i can even tell two names that sums that up. but hey you’ll never acknowledged anything he did because of your personal hatred towards him isn’t it? so i don’t think it will change anything for you
Of course I watch the game, SO WHAT?
What change? A TOO late 4-3-3 ?
You think I dunno any about football? LOLLL. If he used that formation since minute 1 anyone will praise him and inter definitely can win! Because udinese won’t expecting us to do so. Same things happen when we lost to roma, a change to 4-3-3 and roma are underpressured in the last 15mins, but again way TOO LATE! And so many wrong things to tell, but it’s useless to tell someone who licks Mazzarri’s ball.
What personal hatred you talking about? LoL
If it is Mou or any other coach at his position right now are doing the same mistakes he did, i and anyone who’s tired with Mazzarri here will still do the same thing.
Haha yes improvement, but you’re too angry to understand what i’m talking about, if Strama stays he can improve the team himself, BETTER.
The mass madness because of Kovacic? Perhaps but that not the main reasons, either he is playing or not, his decisions of strategy and players selection are so wrong, not to mention his way of talking about the players, no respect at all, and I ask you once again when did he ever say that he admit it’s his fault? What he is a GOD who always been right? LOL, Whats your answer? I pity indonesia for having someone so idiot like you, shameful. You didnt even reply other question above? It’s not me the one who hates Mazzarri, it is you who hate me so much you cant even think. LOLLLL
a late 4-3-3? hahahaha there you go. you wouldn’t even care what he did and for whatever reason. you guys just don’t like him because of his basic formation in the first place, period. no matte what happend on that field, let’s just points the finger at the coach, so typical. right right right for example when mou criticizing referees for their bad refereeing people go right away back him up but when the same thing happened in this period, an even worse one i could say, you guys just say that it was the coach’s fault. hahahahaha what a freakinly awesome double standard. strama can improve the team better? my, my, how desperate you are to see mazzarri out. even if i love strama and i think he was treated unfairly, i wouldn’t stupidly saying that kind of stupid assumption. perhaps but not the main reason? hahahahaha what a joke are you. even when we win games people still complaining about how kovacic didn’t get a lot minutes such as last season
o yeah i forgot about that question. did mazzarri ever said it’s his fault? i don’t really know, never? and should a coach blames himself every time his team didn’t deliver and couldn’t score? if that’s the case would you please name me a coach who always said that he blame himself whenever his team didn’t get the result or his team couldn’t convert the loads of chances that his team had into a goal
“Being stubborn definitely kills you slowly” I really loved this tense, it was quite great
how stubborn mazzari !!!
i just couldn’t stop wondering why mazzari didn’t play kovacic last night.
look how alvarez didn’t make any impact to the game
“This season I must make players grow and make sure they play well.”how you make that ????benching kovacic, botta, taider???? you moron!!! please fire him immediately!!!!
WM=clueless !
Mazzarri is a clown. Sack him! There is no chance to play in UCL next season for Inter. Shame!
Get players to understand what it means to play for inter huh..? Where’s Kovacic then?! Why not play him?
fuck you, get off!!
i prefer stramaccioni
No No No Mazzari in our bench next season, Please take Frank De Boer to replace him or jurgen klopp is brilliant idea
