Gazzetta dello Sport this morning examines the difficult moments which have been experienced by Mateo Kovacic at Inter. From the muscle problems suffered at Pizolo though his struggles in adapting to Mazzarri’s football. After the mistake in Turin, he has worked hard in training and given performances demonstrating his class when given the chance in a game. Inter are certain, Kovacic is a pillar that can be built around and they hope that now he is ready to demonstrate this on the pitch. With Ricky Alvarez the situation is very different, Inter are looking at a possible sale and even on nights when they attempt to ‘showcase’ him it doesn’t go well. Two players heading in very different directions.

I hope this isn´t just speculation.
We haven´t always made the best decisions in the past (understatement), but if we keep Kova and sell Alvarez at least it would be a huge step in the right direction!

I have been saying for the last three years that I would love Banega at Inter, he is a hot head but if we can get his head right he could be just what we need!
