I think Guarin will start before Kovacic.
I believe that Guarin was left on the bench partly as a punishment for his ludicrous move against Livorno, and partly because Mazzarri believed it was the best way to take the pressure of himself and off Guarin too.
He remains the highest valued midfielder for Mazzarri, along with Hernanes and Cambiasso. All the others come after.
