It was reported on the online news source “Sportmediaset” that Napoli has become interested in purchasing Alvaro Morata as a deputy to current striker Higuain. De Laurentiis was said to have held talks with the Spanish club and expressed interest in Morata’s services. Napoli are aware that competition for the striker will not be easy as Inter have recently been in contact with Madrid about the player. However, Napoli has good relations with the Spanish club and De Laurentiis seems intent on exploring this option.
