In the first half there wasn’t much to see but the rossoneri had more chances. Inter had a submissive stance and suffered when Milan stepped it up thus conceding a goal in the second half. The nerazzurri are in a problematic physical shape and they almost played not to lose. De Jong was the best player on the pitch because of his temperament and competitiveness. Milan is now back in the run for the Europe spots after this win, the next game for Inter will be crucial. Mazzarri’s men will be play the game that decides the season against Lazio. Inter’s season rests a difficult one; it hasn’t been easy for Mazzarri to handle many situations. The coach has done a good job though; I think that his first year at Inter should be encouraged.”
