COLOGNO MONZESE – Rodrigo Palacio, the guest of honour at the opening of the Cologno Monzese branch of FC Internazionale top sponsor Deutsche Bank, made the following comments to reporters at the event.
How important will it be to beat Lazio, if only to show that you are 100% behind Mazzarri?
”First and foremost it’s important to beat Lazio so that we get into Europe: there are a host of clubs close behind us, so we have to win.”
Are you ready for Zanetti’s farewell?
”It will be an emotional moment, the last game Pupi will play at San Siro. We’re all close to him. It’ll be a celebration for sure.”
Is it fundamental for this team to qualify for Europe?
”Yes, it’s fundamental. That’s the objective we set ourselves. There are two tough games left to play now and we need to play well in them to achieve our objective.”
