Erik Lamela hasn’t had a good season at Tottenham and has been rumored to be on his way back to the Serie A. But according to the english tabloid site Mirror, Tottenham Hotspurs new headcoach Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly blocked a potential move away from Tottenham for Erik Lamela. Pochettino has told him that he is a major part of his plans for the upcoming season and thereby killed all speculations of Lamela leaving the White Hart Lane.
Clubs like Inter, Juventus and Napoli have shown interest in Lamela, but now has to start looking for other options as Lamela seems to be staying at the White Hart Lane.

If any of the Italian clubs rumoured to be after Eric Lamela’s signature really thought that they had any chance if getting this player away from Spurs, must be living in cloud cuckoo land or eating magic mushrooms. Spurs paid £30M for him and he has hardly kicked a ball in anger all season. Today the foolish Italian press are saying that Jyventus are looking to offer £24M for him. You just have to sympathise with these dumbo’s if this report is genuine. I suspect that it’s all made up bullshit as usual from the Italian press who are far worse than the idiotic numpties masquerading as journalists ITK. Lamela is Argentinian as is the new head coach at Spurs and he isn’t going to get rid of such a gifted compatriot without giving him a fair crack of the whip and neither are the decision makers at Spurs.
