Gazzetta dello Sport pours some cold water on the rumours which have been swirling around Manchester City’s Stevan Jovetic and a potential move to Inter. According to this morning’s edition of the Milanese newspaper there is no evidence that a deal is being discussed between the two sides thus dashing the hopes of many Nerazzurri fans.

Kovacic – Hernanes – Jovetic will wet my pants
Jovetic wouldn’t play in midfield with Kovacic and Hernanes, but rather with Palacio and Icardi up front in a 4-3-3.
The midfield would consist of Kovacic/M’Vila/Hernanes, which is equally impressive.
Now, lets get proper full backs and fix the defense, after which the first team would be prepared for next season, and the only thing left would be to provide Mazzarri with some squad depth.
The rumours are all in Italy. Pellegrini has stated categorically that Jovetic is going nowhere fast and Jovetic has stated the same.
I think that whether or not Jovetic is leaving City depends on whether City will buy some players to bolster the attack for next season.
If they acquire a big name for the attack, one that will make quick work of Jovetic, then Jojo will leave.
The question is, will City spend big this summer after being reprimanded by UEFA in terms of FFP?
Jovetic remains unrealistic for now. As unrealistic as Lamela was, if not more.
Even if city spend big they’re more likely to cash in on Dzeko or negredo who are both 4 years older than Jovetic
