Davide Astori will more than likely leave Cagliari this summer and according to Gazetta dello Sport the 27-year-old defender could very well be considered as a possible replacement for Rolando if the deal between the Nerazzuri and FC Porto would fall through.
As of right now Lazio seems to be in pole position for the players signature. Lazio have offered Cagliari €6m while Cagliari wants €8m for the player.

The rolando deal will eventual go through. The difference between the two clubs is relatively small ~1.5 mil…the will of the player plays a big role. he wants to stay with inter and he had a great season so management wants him to stay. still only june. by the end of the transfer period he will remain an inter player..
LOL
Astori + Rolando is what we need since Samuel already left the club and Anderiolli is included is several swap deals including Ibarbo’s which means he has not convinced Mazzarri there so we can’t play the next season with no defenders on bench
funny news.
Rolando is cheaper and proven, yet we haven’t fulfill porto demand at 5m.
and now cagliari asked 8m for astori.
quite amusing, LOL.
Even funnier is that we spent the same amount on Silvestre after he played well for one season…..Astori has been doing well at Cagliari for years now and the asking price is in my opinion quite fair. If we insert players like longo or benassi to the deal the price will be less…..or just swap him with one of our best players Kuzmanovic…..what do say Cagliari it’s a once in a lifetime offer?
well, astori price was ok
but what funny is, we “can’t afford” Rolando but yet according this news we’re chasing something that even more expensive than Rolando.
inserting someone would be possible, but we knew that Benassi would go to torino.
while I doubt cagliari want either Longo or our lovely Kuz. but they’re interested with Botta though.
anyway, our young player prices wont exceed 2-3 millions, so if cagliari asked for 8m, we still must pay around 4-5m.
similar price with Rolando but, LOL
It´s embarrasing. What are we thinking?
