Rome based Corriere dello Sport reports on the front page of today’s newspaper about the transfer activities of the 2 Milanese clubs, Inter and Milan.
The newspaper reports that Inter are focusing on Mandzukic whilst Milan are looking to bring in Colombian winger Armero as well as Eremenko. However, the main story on the frontpage is that former Inter coach Roberto Mancini has agreed to a pay-cut in order to take the vacant position of head-coach of the Italian national team: “Mancini – Italy, it can be done” the headline reads.
Think Mazzarri wants Mandzukic because he plays very similarly to Cavani, he’s a threat in the box, and he helps the defence more than most forwards
