Tuttosport this morning claim that Inter have been forced into a drastic change of plan in regards to their summer mercato. Continuing on from the story the Turin daily newspaper published yesterday (regarding the purpose of Ausilio’s trip to Madrid) they state that everybody at Inter is now available at the right price: The only exception is Mateo Kovacic. This is due to the fact that Inter have been unable to move Fredy Guarin and his salary which was considered fundamental to the Nerazzurri’s mercato strategy this summer. With the debt that will be confirmed at today’s board meeting also a factor, Inter are willing to listen to offers for their top players. This is a surprise in the case of Mauro Icardi who up until a few weeks ago was at the centre of Thohir’s project. However, everything seems to have changed after Ausilio’s visit to Madrid and now both Icardi and goalkeeper Samir Handanovic could leave Milan this summer.

You guys realize this is bullshit right? Its Tuttosport, don’t believe everything they say. Unless you hear Thohir or Ausilio say it themselves, don’t believe it. Thohir has said multiple times there are certain players that we will not be selling (Icardi, Kova, Handa, Juan, etc.)
Thohir has to make the hard decisions……he has to secure some money that he can promise to Goldman & Sachs and as the owner of Inter he has the courage to make the decisions that Moratti would never have the balls to make – sell and come up with the money required. Sell everyone!!! the problem is the coach – WM is a guy that would rather take on Benitez’ leftovers than develop talent. if you get 75 mill for Handa+Icardi+Guarin that pays off 25 % of their debt. So what if Inter will suck for the next 2-3 years…..they’ve sucked for the last 4 years so Inter fans should be used to it now! Sell, I repeat, SELL!!

i’m still against selling Handanovic as there’s nothing of possible gk replacement news not even Bardi coming to Inter in the near future.. as for Icardi, he will be a huge lost too but if it comes with a right price and some “world class” striker taking his place then that shouldn’t be a problem. I agree that Inter should built around Kovacic but they should also include other prominent players that can contribute more to the team. Inter cannot afford to just depend on Kovacic, not like what Italy did with Pirlo in WC..
