Inter will talk to Cardiff City again today regarding their Chilean midfielder Gary Medel. The player has already made his mind up after agreeing a contract with the Nerazzurri for around €1.8 million P/A. There is still optimism that a deal can be done despite the Bluebirds unwillingness to loan the player out. One alternative is Clement Grenier of Lyon but the characteristics are very different. Medel is known as the ‘pitbull’ meanwhile Grenier is a far more technical player. Today could be decisive for Inter’s pursuit of the ex Sevilla destroyer.
