Everything is done between the player and Inter. Gary Medel has agreed terms on a contract and now waits only for the two clubs to agree a fee. Late this week or possibly early next, Piero Ausilio will head to the UK in order to meet his counterpart at Cardiff. The initial idea was a loan but now Cardiff are asking for cash. Inter are believed to have offered €7 million but the Bluebirds remain steadfast on recovering the vast majority of the £11 million they paid out to Sevilla last summer.
