It’s such unprofessional journalism when you paraphrase someone using quotation marks to make it look like they actually said it. Even more so when you change the intent or meaning.
How do you get:
“M’Vila can surely shine at Inter”
from
“Yes it’s possible. I won’t deny that psychologically wise the fact that he will play in Europe can make him feel more comfortable. His abilities might make him prove more on a higher level.”
He sounds more doubtful than “sure”.
It happens all the time on here and on similar sites, it just takes some getting used to. I agree they should be more careful and factual when reporting stories though as it’s annoying to read an article when the headline doesn’t reflect the content.
