In order of preference the Nerazzurri’s list for an attacker (according to Tuttosport) looks like this. Stevan Jovetic with Erik Lamela & Alessio Cerci as the alternatives. There is a chance for Inter however to launch a low cost operation for Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez. Perhaps a €1.5 million loan with the redemption figure set at €12-13 million. It is well known how much Erick Thohir likes players from the Premier League as they are so popular in Asia. If Hernandez was to join his former team mate Vidic at Inter it would be a great boost to the Milan sides marketing capabilities. One significant problem is Mazzarri, he feels that the Mexican has similar characteristics to those of Mauro Icardi. For this reason he’d like an imaginative second striker type who covers the spaces. Players like Lamela and Cerci fit the bill in this regard.
