Tuttosport raises the possibility this morning of Mauro Icardi leaving Inter. After selling James Rodriguez to Real Madrid, Monaco now have the cash to satisfy Inter’s demand (over €30 million). After an initial approach failed in January the Turin based newspaper believes the Ligue 1 club will test Erick Thohir’s resolve again. Attempts to move Fredy Guarin on have so far proved unsuccessful and it is for this reason Inter are contemplating the sale of their Argentinian hitman. The cash from any proposed deal would be spent on Gary Medel (Cardiff) and the Colombian forward Carlos Bacca. Scorer of 21 goals across all competitions last season, Sevilla are believed to be asking in the region of €18 million for Bacca’s services. One further note is that these two players would take up Inter’s non-EU quota, thus ending any potential interest in Manchester City’s Stevan Jovetic.
