According to reports from “Sky” Inter may be able to sign a top-level player if they are able to sell excess midfield players this summer. However, without the cash from sales the Nerazzurri may return to the idea of Osvaldo as a plan B for the attack. Currently Guarin and Alvarez are said to be for sale in order to make some cash but there are difficulties.

So we have a grossly crowded midfield, full of defensive midfielders that lack creativity, and a thin forward line without a target man. It would make sense to say perhaps sell a few said defensive, unimaginative mids and use the raised funds on a quality striker. Instead we buy, for a decent sum, another midfielder, who comically enough becomes the most defensive and unimaginative of the bunch, despite having not sold a single of our surplus, nor having reinforced up front.
Now we find ourselves in a predicament without the resources to acquire a quality striker, and will once again panic buy an over-the-hill striker who will enjoy undeserved wages, only to leave in mediocrity at the seasons end, and leave us in the same predicament that we stared with, only this time with less negotiating power.
The course has repeated itself so many times it’s beyond comical. We deserve to languish with such incompetent management.
