La Gazzetta dello Sport announce that the deal between Inter and Cardiff for Gary Medel could be done today, and he could finally become a Nerazzurri player.
“Yesterday, Cardiff played a hard but good “game” against the agent Fernando Felicevich who fought to let the Welsh club give the green light for letting his client leave. Across the ocean has the Nerazzurri, Sport Director Piero Ausilio given an mandate of bringing the Chilean midfielder to Milan for 7.5 million euros. The player have already agreed with the terms with Inter. But it remain to define how the payment will be done to Cardiff, Inter have offered a two-year payment. Today the hunt will end. The huge maneuver from Thohir has been a success, like the move for Taider to Southampton who will do his medical evaluation on Tuesday. There are some plans for Schelotto as well.

According to post match interview Gary Medel is returning to Cardiff on Monday to start light training……
Just saw German team play Cardiff 3/3 draw we need Fonte.and.Medal at the back Oli.keep.him to his contract we need him Gary please stay
i thought cardiff said pay£10million or sod off i wouldn,t let him go for less and hold him to his contract vt5hey obviously have,nt got bthe money
For me, Schelotto leaving is like we recruited James Rodriguez.
Getting rid of crap that Branca collected over many years will take time.
Bos – respect to you , you talk sense.
Unlike some who call names like little girls in playground.
HE IS 26-27 YEARS OLD AND ITS A GOOD TRANSFER FOR INTER…….PAZZA INTER
24 hours later – still no money still no change.
When is Gary going to realise that inter don’t rate him that highly if they won’t increase the money or pay up front?
My god, you really are butthurt, aren’t ya?
Perhaps, Inter just don’t have the funds to pay the full price. Have you ever considered that!
Inter is not a rich club, far from it, there are many smaller teams in Europe that have more money, so we are obviously not going to pay the amount of money Cardiff demands.
There is a reason why we get free agents, loan deals with low buy out clauses etc. It’s a clear indication that Inter dos not have allot of money layin arround.
Yeah, and it’s a bargain, it has nothing to do with undervaluing Medel, you see things by the wrong end. We know for several days now that Medel is going to join, only the details remain but since he doesn’t want anything but to join Inter we know it will happen. Given that, why should Inter give in? The money we avoid spending here will be able to be used elswhere: it’s what’s best for the club, and since Medel wants to join Inter Medel wants what’s best for the club.
Ok, so he wants to join.
This does not mean that we have to give him away.
He had two years of his contract left – if he doesn’t want to honour it that’s fine – but someone had to compensate Cardiff whether it be inter, the player or his agent.
oke, just shut up n see medel became a inter player with low price, tq cardiff 🙂
Very good news
