Carlo Tavecchio has officially won the FIGC presidential election after securing 63.63% of the votes in the final round of voting. Tavecchio was followed by Demetrio Albertini in second place with 33.95%. The new and contraversial FIGC president should start his riegn by appointing a new national team coach.

Come on, the point that he say is true. It’s just some sarcasm a la Mourinho we use to hear.
I didn’t pay much attention to every word he said. Yes, he should have said the same thing with more courtesy, but what he said is true. He said that Italian teams need to have more Italian players rather than African or from other places which is definetly true. Thus the Italian national team will perform in a higher level and the overall quality of the league would increase. I believe that Inter should have more Italians representing it despite its name.
Agreed previous with brothers’ comment, we are Internazionale shouldn’t support this racist man. FIGC must be joking or drunk
I don’t care
This is an injustice and stinks of corruption. Forza Albertini!!
This sats more about FIGC then it dose about Tavecchio. How dose FIGC think that they will stop racism when a dude like this gets elected as a president for a representor for Italian football, when racism is a verry nig and discusting deal in many arenas in Italy. This is stupidety at its best. Shame on the voters aka rasict.
Hey guys. Weather we like it or not, he is the new president. So, at this point we can only congratulate him, and hope in the future we can work together to save Serie A. Lets forget about he said, I said… He is the new president, and Inter have always manage itself as a very professional club.
Most real Inter fans are politically Right-wing, which does not mean racist. The Internazionale concept means foreign players alongside Italians, not at the expense of them. It’s bigoted to dismiss somebody as racist for simply saying there should be fewer average foreign players taking the opportunities of Italians.
The problem is that he wasn’t “simply saying” those things. He talked about eating bananas and other things that shows what he thinks of black players. That is racism. You could say it the way Zeman said it, which is that the Italian clubs should put more trust in Italian youngsters instead of getting foreign players. Perhaps Tavecchio meant to say something like that, but he said something else and in a different way which exposed him as a racist, there’s no other way to see it.
A team with name like Internazionale should never, ever, congratulate a person alleged with racist comment. Its dissapointing.
He is an interista!
I dont know from where you got that to be honest.. Because inter is against racism hence the club name Internazionale.. In other words he can not be an interista as he does not know what it means to be a fan of this club.
totally agree with you but i just said what i heard
How the hell can our club support this racist piece of sh*t? Our club represents something! “We are brothers of the world”, remember?
This is an absolute disgrace.. !!
You gotta be kidding me
