Its good that we actually play 4 men at the back. While attacking, we actually have more bodies forward in their box. However, what we really need is a playmaker with a great vision cause both hernanes and kovacic lack that skill.

I haven’t seen any change from last year’s Inter. I don’t think 3-5-2 is to blame. The transition pace from Defense to attack is slow. Mazzari did not figure out this. Perhaps 4-2-3-1 might help with 2 central midfielders picking up the ball and distributing it.

Walter Mazzari is total disaster and asshole.
I already new this, Italian coaches can only teach how to sit deep and and limit the apponents, I say no to 3 man defence as it’s lie it’s 5 at the back,we r getting outplayed by small teams, mazzari will definitely blame the team, cmon tohir enough is enough,look at garcia and even Benetez both in champions league mazzari was lucky at napoli having cavani and levezzi in their prime.
So sad watching this Inter, no life in midfield, no support for Icardi, long balls are not counted as they are very predictable and can be anticipated easily, yet that’s Ranocchia’s main skill. Everybody is just making space for Kovacic to make his run and expect he can dribble past all PAOK players.
On the bright side, good to see Osvaldo dropping deeper to pick up ball and connecting midfielders and Icardi. He shows some good off the ball movements too.
Totaly agree with you my friend. What a shit match to watch. Not even a chance created. I am getting sick of this 3-5-2 formation. If we play like this in EL and serie a , we will not be 9 placed but lower! I know its a friendly but if we dot try different formations we will never know how we”ll play!
