Inter have had their initial offer for Torino’s Alessio Cerci turned down according to the newspaper La Repubblica. Piero Ausilio forwarded the bid (believed to be €10-12 million) but has since seen Atletico overtake Inter with an offer in the region of €14 million. Torino have been consistent on Cerci’s price tag, they want €20 million for the Italian international winger. The Nerazzurri will look to move Fredy Guarin in order to raise cash for another bid but they have a plan B. Ruben Botta is seen by coach Ventura as a good option to replace Cerci and it’s possible Ausilio could enter him into negotiations. Milan are also looking to insert a counterpart but the Granata don’t seem enamoured with the thought of the Colombian Zapata.
