Erick Thohir would like to finish off the mercato with a bang. Inter are seeking a big name in attack to compliment the low cost work which has already been done by Piero Ausilio. Alessio Cerci and Firmino are both well liked but the price tags for both players are very high and unattainable without a sale. With this in mind it’s possible that Inter could lower their demands for Fredy Guarin (€12 million and bonuses) thus creating capital for a deal. The President of Inter is due back in Milan for the final days of the mercato and he could push a deal through. In reserve Inter have ‘locked’ Jonathan Biabiany. A deal is already done with the player and all that will be required is to agree a figure with Parma.
