At Appiano Gentile yesterday the leaders of Inter discussed the latest mercato strategies. Marco Fassone, Piero Ausilio and coach Walter Mazzarri were together for the presentation of Gary Medel. The Nerazzurri are clear as regards Fredy Guarin, they want him sold by September 1st and there won’t be a replacement as Inter are well covered in that area of the pitch. Up front there will be a reinforcement if Ricky Alvarez is sold. Within the club there are those who still champion Firmino despite the cost. Jonathan Biabiany seems further away as the counterparts Parma were interested in have moved on (Botta and Schelotto).
