Sky are reporting that Inter have tabled an offer for Bayern Munich’s Xherdan Shaqiri. The Nerazzurri have offered €2 million for the loan and a further €16 million obligatory purchase for next summer. As of now the German side are demanding #6 million for the loan and €25 million to purchase him in 2015.

Please no need he is too cost abeg iter should just buy ayaw instead of this guy please iter get ayaw for me
If you add up the loan and purchase amounts, we are offering 18 million and the club is looking for 31. We may have initiated contact but we still remain way, way off…let’s hope that the bridge can be found.
Nonsense. Better to sign both Bonaventura and Cerci with that 31m.
Bonaventura with less money. He is a very good player, can score with both feet and head. Keep money for january…
I also agree that this would be the finest transfer we could dream of, but I guess it remains a dream.
We are way too far away with our offer, and 6mio. is in fact a lot for a year loan. If they lower the price for the purchase after a year to maybe 20mio., then I would go for it. Don’t tell me that Shaqiri may be worth more to us than Hernanes for example. We also spent 20mio. on him.
It’s a lot of money, but look at what other clubs pay for young players such as Chelsea did for Oscar, PSG for Lucas etc.
Shaq is one of the best at his age, if only he’d get more playing time.

Ohhhh… they still remember 2010, crazy demand from them, let’s forget Shaqiri and bring either Biabiany, Bonaventura or maybe Cerci.
I’m guessing that they still remember CL season 11/12 as well when Pandev scored 3-2 goal a minute from the end. But keep in mind that Rumenigge is former Inter player and that relation between Inter and Bayern should be good.
Shaqiri is overrated.A lot of hype and little effect, and Bayern demanding makes me laughing.
This guy would make us interisti dream again. He´s amazing player and only 22. Would fit in any formation and he has real ´pazza´ mentality. So let us hope that Ausilio land him before whores from Turin try to destroy the deal.
Bayern shit! Destroyed Dortmund by tricking their star players to join them cheap and tries to sell players they don’t use expensive….
i think bayern can’t do the math
thats a freak demand by munich’s
The way I see it right now our ideal formation would be Icardi – Palacio / hernanes – M’Vila – Kovacic / Dodo – Juan – vidic – Rannochia – D’Ambrosio / Handanovic . If we get Shaqiri he’d slot in as palacios replacement. Now that could give us a catenaccio team worthy of doing something incredible. It inverts herreras midfield triangle so we have 2 trequartistas and 1 regista. *wistful sigh* unfortunately Mazzarri seems to think the primary function of his wing backs is to support attacks and neglect defending so he’d convert that into his 3-5-2 using the exact same wide players to attack. Infuriating to watch sometimes
Shaqiri is not only an alternative for Palacio, nor is he a replacement for him, don’t be crazy.
Should Shaqiri arrive, Mazzarri has much more options in a tactical sense. We could play 4-3-3 with Palacio-Icardi/Osvaldo-Shaqiri up front, 3-4-2-1 with Shaqiri and Palacio behind Icardi/Osvaldo, even 4-2-3-1 with Palacio – Hernanes/Kovacic – Shaqiri behind Icardi/Osvaldo.
Shaqiri is one of the finest young players in the world right now, and I think that the price could go down to 3-4 million for now and another 20 next summer. We’d get our final piece of the puzzle and it would be a player that we could have for the next 10 years, also complementing the project of getting bright young players for the future (with Icardi, Kovacic, JJ, Dodo etc.)
Inter would also send out a message that playing in the Champions League is our target for next season, as well as the seasons after that.
Shaqiri, quite simply is the best thing that could happen to us in the next few days. The fact that he’s expensive is well… unavoidable 😛
Oh granted there are so many options with Shaqiri if we accept 4 at the back. My post kind of assuming Wm will stick with 3 centre backs, which is I admit slightly dumb but hey. I think we can all pretty safely acknowledge 4-3-3 as a classical system into which Shaqiri would slot amazingly well. As would Kovacic, hernanes, Palacio, Icardi, vidic, mvila, Handanovic and dodo. But with Rano as capo and Mazzarri calling the shots 4-3-3 isn’t happening anytime soon
^ same goes for 4-3-2-1, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-1-2 etc
6 million for a loan
Its good that Thohir wants bring him to Inter.
hahahaha are they crazyyyy
yeah okay buddy, 6 million for a loan and 25 million to purchase. LOL
