Lavezzi’s arrival would transform Inter from an EL-spot fighting team straight into a CL-spot fighting team. It would provide Mazzarri with a player of his own, one he knows and loves, and the relation goes both ways there. It would give him more tactical options and also provide space for rotation with Palacio, because everyone knows poor Rodrigo needs rest (he’s by far the most hard-working player on the team).
