InterData, a group dedicated to providing Inter Milan related statistics, has reported a curious fact about the steadily decreasing wage bill. In recent years the total wage bill has fallen dramatically. Here are the numbers:
2008: 110M
2009: 150M
2010: 121.4M
2011: 145M
2012: 100M
2013: 95M
2014: 70M

what I find funny is that in 2011 with 145 million payroll Inter finished 6th place. With a 95 million payroll last year Inter finished 5th place.
Good job by Thorir, It’s quite amazing that we have such a squad(Kovacic, Icardi, Hernanes, M’Vila, Vidic,…) for 70 million(except Guarin deal, one of our higher earners sitting on the bench).
But the question is.. can squads of such low cost can deliver on high levels to push for more revenues and success? It’s quite hard to achieve CL spots atm….so bloody sad!

Our attacking unit was beast last season, our defence look ok but sh*t happens
You think inter played good last year ?? let me point out the facts:
-Inter had the second worst free kick conversion in serie A (Chievo was the worst)
-Inter missed 100 % of their awarded pk’s last season (hey, it’s not my fault inter plays around the 18 yard box and not in it and only were rewarded 1 pk)
-Inter won their first game in 2014 on February 9 against sassuolo
-Inter was winless in January 2014 – maybe playing once a week was too hard on the team ??
-For the first time in over 10 years Inter was not able to win 3 games in a row
-Also for the first time in over 10 years inter did not record a shot on goal in a game (that happened against AC Milan)
-in 4 games against atalanta,udinese, Livorno and bologna inter won 0 games and managed only 3 points.
Care to explain to me why you believe Inter played good last season ??

Who leave in 2009 ? I only remember Ibra.
the salary is quite reduced just before the treble.
while ibra gone, Eto’o also had significantly high salary.
but Figo, Crespo, Cruz, Recoba, Vieira, and Adriano also gone, and they considerably had high salary too.
