Inter’s on loan goalkeeper Francesco Bardi has been interviewed by Corriere dello Sport. Fresh off an outstanding performance in Naples (He saved a Gonzalo Higuain penalty) the Italian U-21 shot stopper broached a range of topics. Of course the conversation inevitable moved to Inter: “Playing for Inter would to be my dream, it’s what I work for everyday. For the moment however I must dedicate myself to Chievo”.

If Bardi is at Handa’s level after this season, we should bring him back and appoint him as a first choice goalkeeper. Meanwhile, we should sell Handanovic to raise abundant cash, maybe at least 30m.
Handanovic is top in the league right now. But Bardi could be our Courtois, maybe in the next 2-3 years he can be our first goalkeeper. And if Inter decide to use him, he could be our captain in the future. Because he’s young, italian, and also a goalkeeper which usually have longer career span.
Boy, you have what it takes to be Inter’s number one goalkeeper,….Go learn a lot during the loan period. As long as you show your consistency and great determination, you will not only be Inter’s number one goalkeeper but also Italy’s no.1. Buffon is getting older anyway. Hopefully Thohir will not sell him for whatever price IMO
Handanovic is Serie A’s best goalkeeper though (along with Buffon). And he’s 30, so he has 4-5 more top level seasons in him. If we don’t sell him, ofc.
I hope he comes next year.
