Esteban Cambiasso is earning rave reviews after completing his first few week’s as a Leicester City player. The ex Inter man has not only been praised by Foxes coach Nigel Pearson but his fellow team-mates have now spoken about his influence around the club. Speaking to the clubs official website striker David Nugent had this to say “He is a quality player. He can see the passes before he plays them, balls around the corner and in behind the defence. His experience is going to do our squad the world of good and that showed in the second half.
“He is an excellent talker on the pitch. His English is very good, which I didn’t expect, and he is a quality man as well, on and off the pitch. The gaffer did well signing Esteban. He’s a quality player and showed that when he came on. Him and Danny Drinkwater put the ball down and started playing football. Basically, that changed the game for us. We are a young squad with not much experience of playing in the Premier League. There is only really Paul Konchesky and myself who have played a few. So Esteban coming in from Inter Milan, a Champions League winner, is a great coup for the club. He has been excellent so far.”

Inter were not wrong to let him leave… they were wrong in HOW they let him leave.
You can’t treat a legend like that, doubly so when they are as classy as Esteban is. It makes you look bad to your fans, and it makes you look bad to players you’re trying to sign as well.
If we want Kovacic and Hernanes to play in the midfield as well as playing with 2 strikers, Combiasso could not do the task.
I respect Cuchu, and I wish we had him instead of Kuzmanovic, but as a fan of him, I’d like to see him play elsewhere rather than seeing a legend like him on the bench.
no, it wasn’t a wrong decision, we have to move forward, although cambiasso is a class player, he can’t play forever, i’d rather him to leave inter than wither at the club as a fringe player, but yeah, LONG LIVE CAMBIASSO!
The owner and management should make it up to him somehow, he deserves much much better..
He shown loyalty to the colours by moving out of Italy when he could have had played for many Seria A teams.. if he wanted.
Thohir, don’t be an asshole. Right your wrong.
You are probably right. But, what is Tohir going to do? Offer him a management position? Cambiaso is a great player and an excellent person (probably second only to Zanetti), but that doesn’t mean he is a good manager or executive, so we can’t expect E.T. to give him a position in his staff just for the sake of it. Having said that, I would love to see E.T. give him a Goodbye game, when he retires or maybe before, something similar to what Real Madrid did with Raul.
ah, somebody from jiran. How is serie A generally and interista specially in your epl minded country? I’m just curious.
As much as I love him for his dedication and continuity through the years, it was time to give the younger players a chance. Inter needed the change, and although getting M’Vila and Medel on his post was a bit of a gamble, I think it’s starting to pay off. And it would have been awkward seeing this champion on the bench. So I wish him the best of luck in England.
He’s magic
You knowwwww

Leicester Fans Sing as he came on against Stoke!
What a player
Tough question. I would have loved to have seen him stay but I also think that it is good that we have a fresh start. I hope he comes back as an assistant coach when he hangs up the boots though, he will offer a lot! I also think we should have given him his own farewell testimonial or something as his farewell got wrapped up with Zanetti’s and he didnt get what he deserved for all he did for the club.
this one is a dilemma.
he is still very good, but not for the whole season. and he also willing to accept much lower salary. and everybody loves Cambiasso.
but if he didn’t go, it would take longer time for midfield regeneration. without him we now have space for Medel and M’vila.
the only regret was, the management should told him earlier he wont get any extension.
Exactly my words Slim.. I love Cuchu a lot and tbh I wanted him to stay at first but when seeing Medel and M’villa, he would just be benched most of the time or we’d lose match minutes on M’villa which would be bad for us over the long term.
Exactly. Let him know in advance… he kept hhisclass though and class is permanent.
We should have kept him somehow in management.
