The coach of the Brazil national team, Dunga, has selected Dodò in his most recent team. When prompted to explain why he had decided to make the selection he said: “He is an outside player with different characteristics from Mario Fernandes, who is more or a marker. Dodò is more offensive and he knows very well how to get into the offensive half of the field.”

Brazil deserved every goal they conceded in that 7-1 belting to Germany. In fact, they deserved to lose to Chile! If it wasn’t for Pinilla hitting the crossbar they never would have had the honour of facing Germany in the first place !! Hulk, FRed and Jo are junk. The defense was pathetic to say the least and Scolari’s tactics were completely ripped to shreds. The end results: Scolari embarassed, Fred forced to retire at the hands of the fand and Brazil left at the end of the first half and team Brazil embarassed on home soil.
I don’t care what they say, the fact that scolari won the 2002 World Cup (tbh the players did rather than him anyway) and dunga’s 2010 squad weren’t so close…I prefer dunga loads. Making neymar captain, kicking out all the other forwards and silva, calling up marqinhos and Coutinho… Brasil will rise again-not necessarily to world champions. But they’ll never be hammered 7-1 when led by dunga 🙂
