Fredy Guarin is never just like the others. After the newspapers were filled with rumors of his departure this summer the midfielder returned with a great substitute performance vs. Sassuolo. However, there is one statistic that has caught the eye of the people at “Inter Data”. Fredy Guarin has lost the ball more times this season than any other Inter player with 20.

BTW Whoscored rated Freddy Guarin as the top player for the Inter-Palermo Game, with 7.7. Why don’t we pay attention to some to this statistics instead of the negative ones? It looks like some people are just trying to create and oppinion matrix on those who don’t watch the games or don’t understand football. https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/865806/MatchReport
These statistics don’t tell you much. You need to watch the games to understand what happens. Last game, Guarin was the only one trying to do something to push forward through the middle. He lost a couple of silly balls, I agree. But I would like to see how much posession he had and how many balls he recovered. I had the impression that he had the ball more than any other player in the field. Also, he was trying to push forward through the center of the field were Palermo had 5-6 players. Kovacic could hardly get the ball pass the center of the field. He was always forced to pass it back or to the side, whereas Guarin at least tried to get it forward. So, it is obvious that he would loose more balls.
Guarin seemed to try hard out there but he does make some awful decisions. Some of the times when he dribbled straight at the opposition, shot when there was no space and passed to no one were maddening. I think he is more effective coming off the bench.
Why couldn’t we buy Pereyra(juventus) Guarin is a bad team player! So many Inter players complained on the field against him! Hes 28 and plays like 21! Never start with this guy again!
will from the early beginning I’ve said that Guarin staying at Inter is the only mistake and for another tip Italian coaches doesn’t know how to choose players so you have take out the bad apples from the squad and leave the good ones its not lack respect for WM but lets face it Mancini Tevez and Balotelli Anchilotti Di Maria and Pato Allegri Stephan and Kaka Mazzarri Kova and Guarin
Fredy is talented but he leaves Inter vulnerable when he lose balls and he should cover the winger he play near to we will get an hard to deal with counter attack from opponents plus I don’t really get how Mazzarri like him because every time any other player get out of the drawn tactic for him he loud his mouth about it but the Guarin do in matches is not following any tactic like playing a sole Guarin game
