Piero Ausilio who just renewed his contract talked to Sky Sport and started out with talking about what Thohir has asked from him:
“Thohir hasn’t asked me for anything special. Being considered by the president and the renewal of the contract is of great honor. For the scudetto we will have to take step by step, we are believing in seriousity and that this can lead to calm. We have the pleasure to create a group that wants to do its best. We all have this target, from the president to the last co-worker and I’m not different. Mazzarri feels strengthened from the summer planning and that he has contributed to build this team. We have searched to bring Inter forward and we are sure that we have done so also respecting our financial situation. Now we are waiting for the field and the results that will confirm that this project is on the right way.
Third place? We don’t watch any other teams. The championship is competitive and every game is hard. We want to have a good season on all fronts without talking to much. My favorite signing? When you sign someone it’s the work of everyone. I’m the leader of a section that includes scouting and the academy. Every negotiation is difficult, but if I think about the ones for Medel and M’Vila I’m surprised of the patience that they had. Though I must say im very proud of every negotiation we finished during the summer.
New players that I’d bring to Inter? We have some players under control but I’m having a tough time saying the names. We are already working, we are monitoring the mercato and I’m convinced that there will be surprises in the near future.”
