Massimiliano Nebuloni has analyzed the reason that Kovacic has become a goalscorer for Inter:
“Kovacic is one of the players who has most class, he turns up the speed of Inter’s game and offers his teammates many solutions. And more than that this season he has a player like Medel by his side who covers up for him and who takes pressure of Kovacic in the defensive part of the game. This makes Kovacic risk the moves that he wouldn’t do last year because of fear, fear to have to track back and cover up or to let a goal in.”

I’ve only caught a couple Inter games so far this season so I’m unfamiliar with some of our new signings’ playing styles. Is M’Vila more of a defensive minded midfielder, therefore is backing up Medel? Or is he a technically gifted midfielder, which is backing up Kovacic and Hernanes?
WE NEED MORE WINGER WITH A GOOD MOVE (WITH OR WITHOUT BALL) BECAUSE KOVACIC HAVE A EXCELENT THROUGH PASS
Yep, Medel is partly an enabler for Kovacic to score more this season, among other things. Lets hope Hernanes can get in the rhythm as well. On a good day, our midfield is just as good as Roma’s, almost as good as Juve’s (and Pirlo won’t play forever, you know, neither will they be able to hold onto Pogba and Vidal…)
