Tuttomercatoweb interviewed the former Inter player Maurizio Ganz who had the following things to say about Inter’s situation and the deluding performance at Firenze:
“If the team is in a crisis? I’d say yes, to win Inter needs to let in less goals. Seven goals in two games is unacceptable, but I still think Inter has a great team. And yesterday Babacar and Cuadrado’s goals were on a very high level so the defense can’t be blamed. There weren’t two mistakes, but two individual performances who were crucial so I wouldn’t compare this loss with the one against Cagliari.”

You are wrong Maurizio. The defence is to blame for at least Babacar’s goal. Juan Jesus particularly is to be blamed for that goal. He didn’t put pressure on him and allowed him to turn and come close enough to take the shot. There is zero aggressivity in the team. Like the 3-0 goal, Tomovic went past 3 inter players like he was Leo Messi. 5 at the back plus both M’Vila and Medel and we let in 3 goals almost 4 if Juan didn’t made that clearance from the goal line.
Of course Ganz is gonna say yes… he is one of the biggest traitors ever. Left inter and badmouthed us for Milan… forza mazzari forza inter ET OUT!!!
keep talking man
We are 6 games into the season. I think people need to stop overreacting like its the end of the world as we know it. They lost the last 2 games but seeing as they have 30+ games remaining i am gonna say that there is time to turn things around…We have a good squad and that will translate on the pitch and up the table soon.
Yes but:
Inter should play a diff formation 4-2-2-1-1
Handanovic
Dambrosio-ranochia-Andreoli- Juan
Medel -mvila
Kovacic. Hernanes
Osvaldo(or palacio)
icardi.
That should give security in front of the box so attempts to score on us from outside are closed down quicker, kovacic and Hernanes will have more room to create opportunities and osvaldo can roam freely as well and can fall back to defend when needed and can also form a triangle with the midfield to connect better and move the ball up the pitch faster cz honestly we lacked the fighting spirit vs fiorentina and we left a lot of spaces in midfield
Wow make sure there are no sharp objects around any of you. Everyone seems to be ready to kill themselves lately. Everyone should chill it’s barely October. It’s not like we started off like united.
To be frank, when you concede 1 goal like that, you close people down better, you don’t let another one in. Besides, Fiorentina had loads of long shots before and after Babacar’s goal. There’s a solution, it’s called closing down by pressing.
If you think inter is in crisis now wait until his annual January Collapse. 2 seasons ago it happened at Napoli, then last year at Inter and this season the exact same thing will happen again !! If you think that 10th place now is bad wait until the end of January when you are fighting Cesena and Empoli for the last spot to stay in top flight ! I guess I will be hearing more about the “year zero” or the famous “wait until next season” but let me remind you something “Mazzarri has 2 and a half years left in his contract and inter are too poor to buy him out – you better get used to these “provincial team results” because that’s all Mazzarri is good for.
Totally agree with everything you said except the contract length I am sure he only has a year & half left.
i hope you are right and I hope that I am wrong !
You’ve gone and had a party there with the predictions, eh?
I know we’re bad right now, we’re really bad, and we’re not gonna be getting too good anytime soon – but lets not blow this out of proportion. Make your analyses based on facts and with realistic prognoses, don’t just blow off steam because you’re pissed. We all are.
I’m not a pesimist or anything, but by what we showed this season, I wouldn’t count out another 9th place finish.
ur mom sucks my dick veeeeeeerrrryyy great man! wanna try some?
