The soap opera may now be over as Rolando is set to return to Inter in January in order to reinforce the defence, which in recent games have conceded too many goals. Mazzarri has always demanded the player return but no agreement could be reached this summer and the player was then left out of the Porto squad. His opinion is well known and he as he turned down other offers and would relish a return to Inter, where he played very well on loan last season.
The Portuguese club seem to have realized that using the tough stance will not lead to anything and they could risk losing the player for nothing when his contract expires. Porto will likely accept the offer from Inter for 1M Euro’s and the player will sign a contract with Inter until 2017.

I want to say that I have no problems with Rolando, my problem is with the fact that we almost can make a full squad with only defenders.. we have silvestre on loan too.. look..

Almost a full defenders squad .. we must change this mind set
Why keep another defender on the roster when the problems are up front ?? i’m only guessing that Campagnaro is gone at the end of the season and Rolando will replace him but he’s 30?? at that age inter can find a player available on a Bosman. Inter’s problems are with strikers! if Osvaldo or palacio get injured at the same time Inter is screwed and you people think Rolando will help in a situation like that? c’mon keep dreaming …..
immagine if we bring to inter a normal coach, who plays with 2 central defenders: , 4 substitutes for 2 starters.. Crazy

Useless? He and handanovic saved our asses last season and scored 4 goals and hes 28 and better than vidic so i dont know which team u were watching. So ur wrong hes not useless.
