Agent Claudio Pasqualin gave an interview to “Tuttomercatoweb” today and talked about the upcoming mercato in the Serie A. Here are his words: “Who do I expect to have a big mercato in January? Inter and Napoli but also Milan.”

Who can we really get to have a good mercato? All I’ve read about so far is about anonymous players from lower quality leagues. That’s improvising, and I don’t believe that’s what can save us right now.
I’d like if we sign Konoplyanka. Then we could use 4-3-3 formation. Although with Mazzarri it’s not likely… I still don’t know whether this slump is Mazzarri’s or our players fault. I mean sometimes they play like contenders but next week they look like bunch of lazy sunday league footballers. Players will have to have somekind of responsibility of the result. And I believe it’s lack of leadership inside the team. Maybe it’s all coming down to Mazzarri.. I don’t know.. f***
Agree with you. I would love to see Konoplyanka at inter in a 4-3-3 formation. About WM and/or the players… I think WM is to blame for many things, after all it is the coach that motivates the players. He is a one formation coach, he doesn’t give chances to the youngsters (Like dzemaili said last year “he is a coach that always play with the same 13 players”), he is unable to make changes before the 60 min even if we are being overwhelmed by the opposing team, and he is too scary to play aggressive high pressing football. But overall the thing that annoys me the most is how he behaves during the games showing signs of frustration and anger but not transmitting anything to the players. Question for all the readers here. Have you guys ever seem an Inter player running to hug WM after a goal? I don’t recall such an event, but I want to make sure I am not making stuff up.
perfectly said bro
Agree with you 500%! Too bad ET extended his contract to 2016. Now he cant afford to fire him.
most of our players are mediocre.
and your description on how we play like contender on one game and on the next one looked like lazy sunday league footballer fit perfectly with ‘mediocre’.
but heyy, Mazzarri said that he is Mazzarri if he can make his players do better than what they supposed to be at first.
soo, if he can’t make this mediocre squad produce something better, then we can blame him too, LOL.
If we have the Mercato everyone was pretending (or deluding themselves into believing) we had last time round, we’ll have done well.
A further reduction of squad wages, cutting dead wood, moving superfluous players on for decent funds in return, bringing some talented youth in, and acquiring players that fit our system for market value or less.
Nothing overly ambitious, no superstar acquisitions or overrated experience (Lavezzi). Be smart in the Mercato for once. Shouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility given we have the “heralded Mercato master” Ausillio at the helm.
A rebuild such as we’re experiencing takes time, incremental improvement over various seasons, with the Mercato”s pivotal. Can’t afford to continue wasting them as we have.
I completely agree that I’d be more than happy if we get players in the same class as M’Vila, Medel, Osvaldo, Dodo etc.
I just don’t know if it’s gonna happen.
I’m satisfied when it comes to our last Mercato. We did very well in these difficult circumstances.
Ausilio is way better than Branca. I think we can all see that now. So I trust him.
I know this rebuild will take some time and I’m anxious to see how it turns out. But I think that this season will be the last under Mazzarri if we don’t qualify for Champions league.
