According to the Daily Star Inter could make a January move for Fabio Borini. The Liverpool striker’s agent Marco De Marchi said that “Inter is interested in him. But Fabio is just thinking about Liverpool, he plays in one of best clubs in the world.” In an interview with Fabrizio Romano, De Marchi said that “Inter are among other clubs that are interested in him but he’s happy here in Liverpool, [Brendan] Rodgers will decide. Fabio has great relationship with Rodgers. He wants to find space and he’s working for that. He has contract until 2017 and wants to play for Liverpool. The January market? Now it is very early, we’ll see what happens.” The former Roma striker is believed to be at the top of Mazzarri’s attacking wishlist for January.

Just let Ausilio work his magic, he will bring him here for a free loan with 5 million buy out clause ahaha

Oh dear, this really is happening, isn’t it? :/
I guess we can only hope he is the Borini that had that magnificent loan season with Roma 3 years ago. As long as Walter thinks he’s the right guy.
Can we trust Mazarri on this one?
somehow, Mazzarri tend to have ‘magic touch’ for washed up forwards.
I’m not Mazzarri’s biggest fan, but as long as we’re spending money, especially when we can’t afford to buy world class players that would fit in with pretty much any system and any coach – I’d rather we spend according to the coach’s needs to maximize the effect.
Besides, like slim_blues_boy says, Mazzarri has a way with washed up strikers. 🙂
I hope this Borini thing is a loan, I personally don’t like him and would hate to see him arrive directly on a permanent deal without having a chance to check him out first.
I hope so dude
