Despite the disappointment of yesterday’s defeat by West Brom, Esteban Cambiasso is set to prolong his stay in the East Midlands. The player who Inter declined to renew last summer is having such an effect off the field at Leicester that he will shortly pen an extension to his one year deal. According to The Sunday People Cambiasso has become key to Nigel Pearson’s planning each game and even leads the group in training. Recent results have not been great for the newly promoted side but they are clearly impressed with what the Argentinian has to offer.
