Gazzetta dello Sport is scathing in its assessment of Walter Mazzarri’s Inter this morning. “Vulnerable, slow and sterile” is the headline from the Milan based daily newspaper. The vulnerability is in a defence which has already conceded twelve goals. Doesn’t give any feeling of security and plays ‘soft’. There is no competitive ferocity. There is no fluidity of movement from the team, therefor every move becomes slow and you can never catch opponents unprepared. The attack has gone sterile, barely scoring from open play. Only penalties in the last four games. Virtually nothing is being created from open play.
