Montoya

Despite renewing his contract during the summer, Martin Montoya could be ready to bid farewell to Barcelona. The right sided defender has barely featured under new boss Luis Enrique and has become tired of his lack of game time. Sources close to the situation state that an immediate transfer to Milan can be ruled out because neither the club or players entourage have heard from the Nerazzurri. This however is not due to a lack of appreciation on Inter’s behalf, Piero Ausilio undoubtedly has Montoya’s name on a list of players he is observing. One factor preventing any transfer in January 2015 is Barcelona’s current exclusion from incoming or outgoing transfers. The appeal will be heard in December and the punishment could be suspended in order to allow the Catalan club to do business as soon as January.
