Italian international Alessio Cerci is Roberto Mancini’s number one target for the January market according to Corriere dello Sport. The former Torino forward has struggled to establish himself with Simeone’s Atletico after a summer move from Turin. Mancini could use his excellent relationship with the players agent Sergio Berti to investigate the possibilities. As opposed to his predecessor Mancini will work very closely with Piero Ausilio advising and using his influence on the market. Thohir is on board with Mancini’s plans and hopes any cost incurred can be covered by reaching a Champions League spot for next season. If not by securing 3rd place then by winning the Europa league.
