The Spanish champions Atletico Madrid have set their price for Italian winger Alessio Cerci at €15 million. Inter were hoping for a loan with a redemption clause but this idea now seems impossible. In fact Diego Simeone is not sold on the idea of Cerci departing in January. Indeed the Argentinian ex Nerazzurro intends to use Cerci on an increased basis during the next five games. If there is some success Simeone would like to choose in the summer rather than January if the ex Torino man is to stay in Madrid. Sending Cerci away in the upcoming market would be a recognition that the move was an error and this is not something ‘Cholo’ is keen to do.

15 mil price means Ausilio can take him for 10. And he’s well worth the money. We should take him.
15 million € was his value one year ago, after a superb season. Now, probably out of form, being a bench warmer, his value is realistically up to 30% less.
Mancini will convey his preferance for mercato with the management in december. Thohir and fassone said that they will wait for Mancini before act for january. So there’s nothing true for the rumors.
For 15 million, doesn’t matter on loan with right to purchase or straight sale, they can keep it forever if they want. In this case i hundred times prefer Konoplyanka, who’s, younger, cheaper, play regular and is protagonist in his club and national team.
I agree, Konoplyanka is the better decision.
Getting Cerci was obviously not the best move Atleti have made in the past few years, it’s there for all to see.
Even if he is afforded more minutes on the pitch until January, it still won’t be enough, Cholo obviously doesn’t think he’s quite good enough yet.
As for the price tag, the obvious way around all this is for Inter to suggest a loan to Atletico, as I’m not sure Atletico are keen to selling right away anyway. This isn’t impossible, especially if the competition isn’t too much.
