Sporting director Piero Ausilio will try and make the best of the January mercato for new coach Roberto Mancini. One name that has been linked with a move to Inter in January is Sampdoria player Roberto Soriano, who recently made his debut for la Nazionale.
According to journalist Alfredo Pedulla multiple clubs are following the player but Sampdoria are unlikely to give him up before June. Juventus are said to have begun to take steps towards the player but nothing concrete. Regardless, Inter are interested.

If names like Soriano are our targets for january mercato, i think that there’s something wrong with our strategy. I believe that we have good basis with players like Handa, JJ, Medel, Kova, Hernanes, Icardi and we need to add only one or two names, but players who can make the difference, not another mediocre sub.
Prefer Obiang from Sampdoria
Me too, tall and strong and can be an upgrade from Kuz. I saw Soriano very few times but he’s nothing special.
Gabbiadini would be fantastic
